About the course
The International Summer School on Energy Transition is an intensive program designed to provide specialized training in sustainable energy. Through a multidisciplinary approach, this course explores the main challenges and solutions in the transition to cleaner and more efficient energy sources.

📌 Duration: 80 hours.
📌Certification: Certified and accredited course for undergraduate students.
📌 Special event: In-person course during RELIEVE 2025.
📌Guest experts: International professors and professionals with experience in the energy sector.
Our goal is to:
- Train key actors in energy transition technologies, strategies, and policies.
- Promote the adoption of renewable energies in electricity, thermal, and chemical generation.
- Mitigate environmental impacts such as pollution and climate change.
- Strengthen academic quality in energy and sustainability issues in Latin America.
- Train professionals to ensure sustainable access to energy.

The program will take place during RELIEVE 2026, with participants attending keynote lectures and parallel workshops at the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies.

A certificate will be awarded to participants who attend more than 80% of the sessions.
